In New Pokémon Snap, environments can differ greatly between the region’s islands, making for a variety of habitats. Don’t forget to investigate plants and interesting objects you discover.

Search for Pokémon in Unexpected Places

As you keep researching a course, your research level there will increase. At higher levels, Pokémon may display different expressions and behaviors. As you go on lots of expeditions, you’ll find new encounters and discoveries awaiting you.

The Mysterious Illumina Phenomenon

Pokémon and vegetation in Lental have sometimes been seen to glow. This is known as the Illumina phenomenon, which is unique to this region. In New Pokémon Snap, you’ll work to uncover the truth behind the Illumina phenomenon as you study the Pokémon of Lental and their habitats.
